Sheep & Cattle Nuts
Sheep & Cattle Nuts are formulated to be fed to sheep & cattle to maintain body
weight and condition in situations where forage quality and or quantity is limiting.
INGREDIENTS
Sheep & Cattle Nuts are formulated from a selection of the following ingredients: Barley, wheat, triticale,
oats, peas, lupins, lentils, beans, soyabean, canola, sunflower, almonds, grapes and products derived from
these ingredients. Vegetable oil, limestone, di-calcium phosphate, salt, rumen buffer, bentonite, magnesium
oxide and antioxidants.
Vitamins: A, D3, E. Minerals: Calcium, phosphorus, sodium, chloride, sulphur, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron,
magnesium, manganese, selenium and zinc.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS
The feeding rate of Sheep & Cattle Nuts will vary depending on a number of
factors such as body weight and condition, pregnancy, lactation (level of milk
production), activity and quality of the roughage being fed.
Generally Sheep & Cattle Nuts would be fed between 0.5% to 2% of body
weight per day along with ad lib. roughage.
Introduce Sheep & Cattle Nuts gradually and avoid sudden changes to diet as
digestive problems may occur. If digestive problems occur reduce the amount of
nuts being fed and increase roughage consumption until normal digestive activity
returns.
Roughage and clean, fresh water must be available at all times.
